Mr. Chesser is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer - Great Plains Energy and KCP&L (since October 2003). Previously he served as CEO of United Water (2002-2003); and President and CEO of GPU Energy (2000-2002). He serves as the Vice Chair of the Electric Power Research Institute and as a board member of the Edison Electric Institute.
