Mr. Mitchell is the Executive Fellow-Leadership, Center for Ethical Business Cultures (since 1999), a not-for-profit organization assisting business leaders in creating ethical and profitable cultures and is a Director for Capella Education Company. Mr. Mitchell served on the Compensation and Development and Governance Committees during 2006.
A graduate of Princeton University, he is a chartered financial consultant, a chartered life underwriter and a fellow, Society of Actuaries. He served as a director of KLT Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Plains Energy, during 2001.
